Just some late-night rantings and reflections…. much of it redundant, none of it complete. I appreciate the unconventional route to most things, mostly because I find myself taking it much of the time. It’s the most difficult line to hold to, but it has the best view.

I don’t allow comments, positive or negative, as too many blogs degenerate into mud-slinging verbal retorts, which I’m not interested in promoting. There are many blogs out there that express differing opinions from mine. I encourage you to seek them out. If you’re visiting for the first time, you might want to consider starting at the bottom and working your way up.

At the end of the day, I’m a pensive Christian, which means I trust what I believe more than I trust myself. I’m a writer, life-long student, and full-time professor who lives in Pasadena with his wife, daughter, son, and Australian Cattle dog, Matilda. They are the anchors that keep me tethered to this earth and my heart wide open.
